AS A CLIMBER...

...the need for a  shoe that can be both a hiking boot and a slip-on is imperative.

Sturdy shoes are necessary to reach the climb site safely (see left photo). However, once you're there, you can't walk, hang out or even belay in climbing shoes because of everything that helps you stay on a vertical cliff;  shoe snugness, arch curve, stiff material, etc.

It's extremely difficult to lace up shoes once your hands are chalked and your fingers are sore. This becomes a problem when you have to change shoes in between each route and for your ascent. A lot of climbers will carry flip-flops or even go barefoot, risking injury or infection.

I envision a boot that can be easily slipped on/off while also providing ample support to help you reach your pitch safely.

Hike, climb, belay and send without having to pack extra shoes or worry about subbing an ankle injury for convenience.

Sturdy, supportive and practical for hiking but cumbersome to lace up.

New cleat technology that allows athletes maximum control with minimal interference

The perfect shoe for climbing yet restricts movement on the ground.
